BEHIND THE LENS

 

 

AJ was born and raised in Chicago. He found his inspiration for photography through his mother, who took most of the family photos. He was consistent with his interests as he took photography classes in high school, and later in college. He soon expanding his love of art to painting and media. He's responsible for a beautiful mural in the basement of Roosevelt University, then known as Robert Morris college. He won the Chicago Oscars award from RCCI for his accomplishments in media and photography. One of his biggest accomplishments to date is his media coverage for Obama's Farewell Address in Chicago's very own McCormick Place. AJ's photography is about creating unique and marketable images of all hues and types. In college, he began a magazine as a pet project that transformed into a serious pursuit. The magazine's mission is to inform the world of incredibly unique individuals that would otherwise go unnoticed. Still From the Soul Magazine is internet based and currently features the work and interviews of artists and creative entrepreneurs if all sorts. Here is recognized among the greatest photographers hailed from the immensely cultured city of Chicago.
